Our Story

Buddy Guy Cannabis was formed in late 2020 with the goal to bring cannabis products to the rural communities of Manitoba. Our first store location opened in Altona, Manitoba, with more to follow! The name Buddy Guy comes from a common Manitoba slang when talking about a friend or an acquaintance.

We pride ourselves in community involvement and actively support other small businesses in the communities that we serve. We aim to end the stigma surrounding cannabis from its illegal underground roots, to the heavily regulated and safe products we have today! This is why we invest in further education for our staff and hire those who can educated our customers on the wide variety of products we carry.
