Buddy Guy Cannabis was formed in late 2020 with the goal to bring cannabis products to the rural communities of Manitoba. Our first store location open in Altona, Manitoba, with more to follow! The name Buddy Guy comes from a common Manitoba slang when talking about a friend or an acquaintance.
We pride ourselves in community involvement and actively support other small businesses in the communities that we serve. We aim to end the stigma surrounding cannabis from its illegal underground roots, to the heavily regulated and safe products we have today!

Q: I’m not familiar with all the different types of strains and cannabis products, Is there someone that can help me?
A: Yes, We have knowledgeable staff that have been in the retail cannabis market since legalization. Our staff are also required to take online courses to gain a vast knowledge base of all the different types of products out there. Feel free to come in and have a one on one with our amazing staff.
We also have a self help kiosk available! On this kiosk you can learn at your own pace and even make your orders for pickup at the front cashier desk.
Q: How should I store my cannabis flower?
A: You should store cannabis in an air tight container and keep it away from sunlight. Always store cannabis in a manner that is inaccessible to persons under the age of 19.
